New darkroom

I'm in the process of building a darkroom for my black and white film photography so i can start printing my own prints so keep an eye out for my new set up may be a while yet though as building has just started

My wife and I have purchased a motor home and just completed our first fortnight away touring Devon and Cornwall I’m in the process of editing the video so look out for it i’ll post a link when it’s finished

coronavirus

this is a difficult time as the virus has hit my family while i self isolate and await the return of my wife from hospital I'm going to go through my back catalogue of pictures so hope you like them

badger footage

I’ve finally had time to produce my badger footage and upload it to my YouTube channel its only a short video have a look at my video page for a link to it. I hope to get some daytime footage and pictures when the longer days come hope you enjoy

My first couple of videos are up and running

I have a video page now with a couple of videos I should improve as I get more practice as i’m not a public speaker I don’t feel confident in front of the camera but I should get better as time goes by

Problems

I’m having problems with my video editor hope to get it resolved before I go back to work with me luck

Dipper’s at Milldale

been to milldale on the river dove today to photograph the dippers also got some nice photos of a grey heron that was not spooked by me will be uploading a few pictures to instagram later so drop by and have a look if you like

there out

put the cameras out today will retrieve them towards the week end while out I saw a composition for a photo see below need to go back and maybe focus stack the image don’t think I got it right but at least I got out and tried (note to self try harder lol)

more badger footage

I retrieved my camera's today and got some good footage of the badger thete was also a fox walking past lots of squirrel and blackbirds but most intriguing were a pair of mice lol

Badger spotted

on a second review of my trail cam footage i noticed at the end of one clip a badger comming in to view this is the only footage ive got so I put out my trail cams again but hopefully in a better position so as to get better footage Ill leave them there for a week and then have a look hopefully i should have better footage to show you

Retrieved my trail cams

Went to day and retrived my cams got some footage of a stag and pheasants but no badgers better luck next time hope to have cams out again soon

I’ll sort out the footage and post it soon so keep an eye out

Hunting for Badgers

I have placed my trail camera's where i think there is a badgers set I'll leave them there for a week and then retrieve them there are markings on some falling tree stumps and some tracks relating to badgers so with a bit of luck ill have some footage of badgers to show you

Dominican republic

On a recent family holiday to the Dominican republic I had a lot of time to myself in the morning,s. I would sneak out of the room with my camera while my wife slept I would then go to the pools or on to the beach the beach was a good place for swallows and the pools were good for herons and egrets
