I’ve been a keen photographer since I was 16. I became a coal miner after leaving school and I purchased my first camera with my first weeks wages

I have a great love of the outdoors and living on the Staffordshire, west midlands border. I am central to a lot of the British isles.

My local patch is Cannock Chase and my number one subject being Birds. I’m also a member of the west midlands bird club visiting Belvide a reservoir close to where I live, I’m also a member of the RSPB and visit a lot of their reserves my favourite being Leighton Moss and Morecambe bay in Lancashire.
